Mr Thiruendran Gunendran is a Consultant Urologist specialising in general urology, urological cancers and benign prostate disorders with over 18 years of experience. He is currently based in Manchester and sees patients at Wythenshawe Hospital and private patients at Spire Manchester Hospital.

Management of prostate enlargement (benign prostate hyperplasia)
Lower urinary tract symptoms
Blood in urine (haematuria)
Prostate swelling (prostatitis)
Testicular pain
Foreskin problems
Epididymal cysts
Kidney stones
Bladder lesions
He also has special interests in all urological cancers, including penile, testicular, renal, bladder and prostate cancer. Mr Gunendran practices evidence-based urological care and strives to provide the best clinical outcomes for all his patients, both inpatients and outpatients.
Alongside his work in practice, he has experience in clinical research. He holds professional memberships with the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the European Association of Urology.
