About Mr Thamir Yasen
Mr Yasen qualified in 1974 from the University of Baghdad before completing five years compulsory general practice at Baghdad Medical City Teaching Hospital. Since then, he has gone on to become a specialist in Ophthalmology. Mr Yasen became Registrar at The Royal Hospital of Victoria, in Bournemouth in 1986 and later progressed to work as Associate Specialist at the hospital. Throughout this process he has acquired abundant experience in vitreoretinal Surgery, neuroophthalmology, glaucoma, oculoplstics, anterior segment and ocular motility. He has mastered techniques such as adjustable structures and botulinum toxin treatment of squint.. Since September 2000, Mr Yasen has worked as a Locum Consultant Opthamologist at PMH, Swindon.
