About

I am a Consultant Vascular Surgeon treating patients with a broad range of vascular disease. My NHS practice is based at the Royal Liverpool Hospital, St Helens and Knowsley NHS trust and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. I specialize in endovascular or keyhole treatment of vascular conditions including varicose veins, blocked leg arteries and aneurysms.

My medical school training was at Imperial college London where I was awarded the basic MBBS degree in addition to a BSc in Physiology and an MSc in Surgical technology.

Following Medical School and basic surgical training in London, I undertook specialist vascular surgical training in Oxford. This was followed by a vascular surgery fellowship in Melbourne, Australia for 12 months. Further specialist training was in Montreal, Canada where as the McGill University advanced Aortic and Peripheral Endovascular Fellow I was trained to be a specialist at treating all aspects of peripheral vascular and aortic disease using keyhole or endovascular surgery. Using these skills and broad training, I work in collaboration with colleagues from cardiac surgery, interventional radiology and anaesthesia to offer the most advanced treatments available for patients with complex vascular disease requiring either open or complex endovascular repair procedures.

I am happy to see patients with all conditions traditionally looked after by vascular surgeons.
