Prof. Dr. Satvinder Mudan
About
He completed a BSc in Anthropology at University College London before obtaining his MB BS from the University of London in 1986. He later earned an MD from the University of London for his research in cell biology, alongside achieving FRCS. Mr Mudan pursed further specialist training in laparoscopy and surgical oncology and completed two fellowships in surgical oncology, refining his expertise in cancer care.
Mr Mudan has held senior roles at leading institutions, including St George’s Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital, where he served as Medical Director for Private Care and chaired the Hepatobiliary section of the London Cancer Alliance. His clinical interests include bile duct and biliary cancers, gallbladder disease, oesophageal and stomach cancers, as well as procedures such as gallbladder removal, hernia surgery, and reflux treatment.
Actively involved in research in cancer immunology Mr Mudan is committed to improving early diagnosis and outcomes, contributing to national initiatives in pancreatic cancer awareness.
