Mr Mahmood is a NHS Consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Lister Hospital, Stevenage and QE II, Welwyn Garden City. More recently, Mr Mahmood has been awarded a Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery from Ulster University, UK.
He carries out cataract surgery in patients with or without retinal disorders. His busy clinical practice is complemented by his involvement in teaching and research. As a lead for urgent eye care and rapid access service, he is dedicated to ensuring that the services we offer are safe, effective, well led, caring and responsive.
