Alongside his clinical work, Mr Parker has a strong academic background. He completed a PhD at University College London in 2021, focusing on abdominal wall reconstruction. He is currently the principal investigator for the TROCAR trial, which is evaluating the use of a novel suture, DuraMesh, for laparoscopic port-site closure.
