Mr Rohit Makhija is a Consultant Surgeon on the GMC specialist register, specialising in general, laparoscopic, and colorectal surgery within the NHS. His clinical interests encompass a broad spectrum of general surgery, including the management of colorectal cancer and polyps, anorectal problems, anal fistulae, and haemorrhoids, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of intestinal disorders, gallstones, and hernias. He is also adept in endoscopy and the laparoscopic management of inflammatory bowel disease.
With numerous publications and book chapters to his name, Mr Makhija remains actively engaged in academic surgery, continually contributing to advancements in surgical techniques and evidence-based clinical practice.
