Mr Rajan Ravindran
About
Mr. Ravindran qualified from Madras Medical College, Madras (now Chennai), India. After his initial postgraduate surgical training and obtaining his higher degree at Stanley Medical College, Madras, India, he moved to the UK. Most of his higher surgical training was in the north of Scotland, in Aberdeen. In Aberdeen he underwent training in wide range of general and GI surgery, focusing on surgery involving the bile duct, gallbladder, liver and pancreas in the later stages of his training. He performs both cancer and non-cancer surgery, and has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery due to the excellent recovery times for his patients.
In addition to his busy practice, Mr. Ravindran is a keen educator and is involved in teaching undergraduate students and training postgraduate doctors.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
