About Prof Nick London
Professor Nick London is a Specialist Knee Surgeon in Leeds and Harrogate and a Visiting Professor at Leeds Beckett University. He sees private patients at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital and The Duchy Hospital, Harrogate. Professor London specialises purely in knee surgery and the management of knee conditions. He is an internationally-renowned expert in sports injuries (children and adult) and knee replacement surgery. Professor London has gained extensive experience training in the UK and abroad and has performed thousands of arthroscopic surgeries, knee replacements and ACL reconstructions during his 20+ year long career. Professor London offers a complete service to all orthopaedic knee conditions including sports injuries and knee conditions developing in children and adolescents, and knee replacements/resurfacing procedures surgery in patients with severe arthritis. He is renowned for his success in the treatment of young patients with arthritis and for his remarkable experience with ligament-preserving replacement surgery (partial knee resurfacing). Professor London completed his medical degree at the University of Cambridge in 1989, followed by his surgical training in Leeds. He then spent two years undertaking surgical research, leading to his MD. He later completed a six year orthopaedic surgery training programme based in Yorkshire, during which he completed a year-long knee fellowship in Australia.
