His extensive training has been enriched by international experiences, having completed two post-qualification fellowships: a laparoscopic colorectal fellowship in Yorkshire, and an advanced rectal cancer fellowship at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm. Additionally, he has further honed his expertise in advanced robotic techniques during his time at Tokyo’s Medical and Dental Hospital.
Previously, Mr Stylianides served as President of the Dukes’ Club and was a council member of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland. He remains actively involved in audit and research at both local and national levels, recruiting patients to multiple clinical trials and contributing to the advancement of colorectal surgery.
