Dr. Nicholas Morgan
About
Mr Morgan graduated from Charing Cross Hospital Medical School, London in 1986. Prior to that, he completed an Immunology and Cell Biology BSc at the University of Wales. He undertook his speciality training in orthopaedics on rotations at St Georges and Charing Cross Hospitals in London. During that time Mr Morgan spent a fellowship year at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto specialising in adult hip and knee reconstruction and trauma surgery under renowned Professor Joe Schatzker. More recently he studied for a masters degree in Medical Law (LLM) at Cardiff University.
In addition, Mr Morgan carried out the first custom made Conformis knee replacement in the UK and has now done nearly 500 of these operations. He is the UK clinical lead for Conformis and trains other UK surgeons in the technique. He also offers MAKO robotic assisted partial and total knee replacements.
In his leisure time he enjoys photography and woodworking and is a keen dog owner.
