He has completed three sub-specialist fellowships with a focus on hip and knee surgery, including joint preservation techniques and complex joint replacement procedures.  He has held senior management positions including Clinical Lead for the Orthopaedic department during the Covid pandemic from 2020-24.

His specialist areas of interest include hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, revision knee surgery, knee ligament reconstruction, patella instability, and the treatment of sports injuries and meniscal tears. He routinely performs procedures such as arthroscopy, chondroplasty, and bone grafting, and tailors each treatment plan to the needs of the individual patient.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Boyce Cam has published research in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of several professional organisations including the General Medical Council, the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Association of Knee Surgery, the British Hip Society, and the Higher Education Academy.
