Mr Kumar Kunasingam is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in bunionectomy, foot and ankle arthroscopy, sports injuries and foot reconstruction surgeries.

He qualified in Medicine from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in 2001. He also completed a BSc in Experimental Pathology and Genetics. He completed house officer training, before teaching Anatomy under the supervision of Professor Harold Ellis at Guy's King's and St Thomas; Medical Schools. Alongside this, he was training in General Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery within the London Deanery.

Furthermore he completed training on foot and ankle surgery in Sydney, Australia, where he was taught how to perform minimally invasive techniques. He also was given the opportunity to test his medical skills on some of the best athletes. Following this, he completed a fellowship in trauma surgery at King's College London Major Trauma Centre. He was subsequently appointed the position of Consultant and also established a foot and ankle unit at Croydon University Hospital.

Mr Kunasingam uses a holistic approach when managing foot and ankle conditions and is focussed on medical and recovery factors. He can treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions and provides good communication with his patients in order to select the optimal treatments and care.
