Mr Kasra Saeb-Parsy is a Consultant Urologist at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He obtained his MBBS from the University of London, undertook general surgical training at Hammersmith Hospital. Being awarded MRCS, Mr Saeb-Parsy dedicated himself to basic science and clinical research and in the meantime, he completed his higher surgical training in Urology at the world-renowned Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Saeb-Parsy sees patients (male and female) with all general urology problems. His main interests, however, remain renal stone disease (including laser treatment) and prostate cancer diagnosis using adavanced MRI fusion biopsy techniques. He also has specilaist interest in the treatment of benign enlargement of prostate cancer using Laser (HoLEP) and new steam treatment (Rezum). He was the first urologist to offer Rezum in Cambridgeshire with extensive experience. Mr Saeb-Parsy has also a keen interest in prostatitis and chronic pelvic pain.
Mr Saeb-Parsy is actively involved in medical education and is an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy. He teaches courses on Laser management of stone disease and MRI of the prostate and biopsy and Emergency Urology.
Mr Saeb-Parsy has a keen interest in research. He has been the chief investigator of several clinical research studies and has authored numerous articles in scientific journals and textbooks on urology. He is stone sub speciality lead as well Governance lead at Cambridge University Hospital.
