About Mr Gregor Kerr

Mr Gregor Kerr is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon Hospital specialising in hand and wrist surgery, shoulder surgery and elbow surgery, and trauma surgery. He practises at Northampton General Hospital (NHS) and BMI Three Shires. Mr Kerr trained at The Middlesex Hospital and gained his medical degree from the University of London in 1981. He then undertook basic training at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge before returning to London and working in a number of different fields including paediatric surgery at Great Ormond Street and plastic surgery at Mount Vernon Hospital. He also spent time teaching anatomy at The Royal Free Hospital Medical School. Following the completion of his advanced surgical training at University College Hospital, Mr Kerr became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. After completing higher surgical training in orthopaedics, he trained in hand surgery and further plastic surgery at Wrexham Park Hospital. He then worked at The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford as a lecturer and registrar before travelling to North America and Canada to gain further expertise in shoulder surgery. Mr Kerr joined Northampton General Hospital as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in 1994.
