The Fertility Centre at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Trust. He is responsible for developing the clinical protocols and clinical strategy and for assessing the most complex cases. Dimitrios
chairs the multi-disciplinary team meetings, and the medical team meetings. Mr Nikolaou is a world expert in ovarian reserve assessment, fertility preservation and egg freezing. He first introduced "early ovarian ageing", internationally, to describe women whose ovarian reserve declines at a young age and propose strategies for screening. In his practice he treats women of all ages with early ovarian ageing as well as women with polycystic ovaries, same-sex couples, and single women. Dimitrios leads the infectious disease program, offering fertility treatment for patients with Hepatitis B, C or HIV.
