Mr Debashis Ghosh, Consultant Breast Surgeon, is currently situated within London in both NHS and private settings. He has years of experience allowinng him to efficiently assess the needs of his patients. Consultations with him occur in world-class facilities, with services for radiology and pathology available to his patients in the same consult. He was the Clinical Lead for Breast at Royal Free and Cinical Director for Breast Pathways NCL Cancer Alliance NHS England, He is currently Divisional Director for surgery at The London Clinic.
Mr Ghosh is a very active member of the research community, he has previously pioneered a technique using a portable gamma camera for sentinel node biopsies. He is also involved in many high profile trials at the Royal Free Hospital and UCL Medical School including a trial examining the use of intraoperative radiotherapy, radioactive iodine and seed localisation. Most recently, he has been working on a clinical trial looking at the use of fluorescence in cancer surgery. Additionally, he is a co-author of a chapter within a textbook on breast and oncoplastic surgery titled "Kirk's Operative Surgery Kirk's".He was e was one of the pioneers for introducing wire free loaclisation and use of immunofluorscence in Breast Surgery . He also introduced LYMPHA a specialied procedure to prevent lymphoedema in axillary clearance .
The treatment plan of patients is discussed within a multi-disciplinary team of radiologists, oncologists, and pathologists to ensure the best treatment is offered.

The service provided by Dr Ghosh was quick and efficient. My appointment was booked in very quickly and after an initial inspection, I was sent for a scan straight away.
Luckily the results were all clear and Dr Ghosh and his staff took the time to explain possible reasons for the symptoms and reassured me that nothing more sinister was happening.
