Professor Davor Jurkovic is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. Professor Jurkovic is an internationally recognised expert in gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound. They have published extensively on these topics and have edited five books.
Professor Jurkovic has helped to develop and run the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists training programmes in gynaecological ultrasound, acute gynaecology and early pregnancy. They are also a founding member of the educational charity Focus on Gynaecology.
Professor Jurkovic was awarded the Ian Donald Gold Medal in 2020 by the International Society for Ultrasound in Gynaecology and Obstetrics for their scientific contribution to the advancement of diagnostic ultrasound and its impact on the way ultrasound is used in clinical practice.
Professor Jurkovic is fluent in English, Croatian, and Serbian.
