About
Chris graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 2002 and completed his higher surgical training in the London Deanery in 2013. At the end of his training, Chris was awarded one of just 6 prestigious Ethicon Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowship available nationally, giving him broad experience in advanced laparoscopic (key-hole) techniques. He undertook this 6 month Fellowship at the internationally renowned laparoscopic training unit at Colchester University Hospital.
Chris offers his patients the full range of in-patient and out-patient colorectal and general surgical services including emergency surgery. He prides himself on providing a personalised service to his patients with strong emphasis on effective and empathic communication. Chris is also a keen proponent of medical education and is a senior lecturer at the Kent and Medway Medical School, running the 3rd year surgery and perioperative care module for the school.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
