In addition to his surgical qualifications, he has a BSc in Neuroscience and an MSc in Trauma Surgery. Mr Morgan lectures nationally and internationally on shoulder surgery and is involved in running a national arthroscopic shoulder surgery course. He is passionate about teaching & training and was honoured to be nominated by his trainees for a Health Education England School of Surgery Excellence in Education Award 2019-20.

He has an active interest in research and regularly publishes in medical journals and was part of the team who were awarded the Ian Kelly Prize for research at BESS Dublin 2016.
