About Mr Azhar Iqbal
Mr Iqbal is an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon who has worked in the Uk's most prestigious hospitals. He works in the NHS whilst also running his own private practise. He specialises in general reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and has considerable experience with breast reconstructions, treating skin cancers, facial palsy, and with hand surgery. He believes in patient-centred care that achieves the best possible outcomes for his patients. Mr Iqbal is actively involved in teaching, training charity and advancing the speciality. He is an examiner for Royal college of surgeons, part of standards setting agency in plastic surgery, and was programme director for plastic surgery for six years in Mersey deanery.
