Mr Khunda qualified in medicine at the University of Baghdad, Iraq in 1994. He undertook subspecialty training in benign vaginal surgery and advanced labour ward practice. Mr Khunda received his Certificate of Completion of Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in April 2010.
Mr Khunda has been a susbstantive consultant Subspecialist Urogynaecologist at Guys and St Thomas NHS Trust since 2014 and has extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of urogynaecological conditions.
In his current roles, he sees patients with urogynaecological conditions such as: pelvic organ prolapse, stress and urge incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections and postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction.
He has published research projects, including one published in the highly acclaimed American Journal for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Mr Khunda is the current chair of the British society of Urogynaecoly and has been an active memebr of the board for the past 15 years.
