Dr. Mohammad Hesham Aly is a highly esteemed ophthalmologist and anterior segment eye surgeon, widely recognised as one of the leading eye specialists in Dubai. Dr. Aly graduated from Cairo University in 1982, completed his Master’s in Ophthalmology in 1988, and undertook a fellowship in glaucoma in 1995. In 1999, he was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Over the course of his career, he has held positions including Registrar and Glaucoma Fellow at Magrabi Eye Hospital in Jeddah, Assistant Consultant Ophthalmologist at Magrabi Eye Center in Muscat, Oman, and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Magrabi Eye Center across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Cairo since 2003.
His clinical expertise spans comprehensive glaucoma management and advanced cataract surgery, enabling patients to regain and preserve their vision using the latest surgical techniques. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Aly has contributed significantly to the field through international conferences, publications on glaucoma and cataract, and by participating in ophthalmic education programs such as i-Learn, which aim to advance knowledge and skills among eye care professionals.
