Dr. Mohamed Tal is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst working at the Mapletree Centre, Dubai. He conducts his consultations in Arabic, English and French.
Dr. Tal sees adolescent and adult patients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bereavement and self esteem issues among others. He usually sees each of his patient once to twice a week depending on their preference and requirements, as he feels patients see the best benefits from regular consultations. His sessions are typically 50 minutes.
Dr. Tal undertook his training initially with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Following this he went on to complete a PhD in Theoretical Psychoanalysis. He has endeavoured to expand his professional portfolio wherever possible including undertaking training in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Beirut, which included training analyses and clinical supervisions.
In addition to his private practice as a psychoanalyst since 2009, he has worked as a Psychotherapist and Staff-Care Psychologist with a number of humanitarian organizations in the Middle East, including: Doctors Without Borders, WarChild Holland, Handicap International, and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit. Dr. Tal also taught psychoanalysis with his seminar on The Real at the École Libanaise de Psychanalyse, and is a renowned author in psychoanalytic theory and philosophy.
