Miss Harleen Deol is a Consultant Oncoplast Breast Surgeon with over two decades of experience in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. She sees private patients at several clinics in Hertfordshire.
Miss Deol qualified as a Doctor from St Barts and the Royal London in 1997 and was then the first woman to enter the Royal London Hospital General Surgical Rotation in over 20 years. After this, she undertook further senior specialist General Surgical training in London and a Paediatric Surgery Fellowship at The Royal London Hospital. Having worked and trained in several Breast Units in London, she was then awarded a prestigious National Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Fellowship with the British Association of Surgical Oncology.
Since being appointed as a Consultant at East & North Herts NHS Trust in November 2011, she has been the Chairwoman for Beds & Herts Network Cancer Group, working with the national Cancer Alliance to improve breast cancer care for women in Hertfordshire. In 2020, Miss Deol became Clinical Director for Breast Cancer in the Trust & since March 2021 serves on the Association of Breast Surgery National Clinical Practice & Standards Committee.
