Miss Miriam Charalambous is a BPS accredited Consultant Psychologist based in London, St Albans and Harpenden, seeing private patients at the following locations:

Miriam sees patients with a variety of mental disorders and conditions, including: anxiety, depression, phobias, PTSD, OCD, post natal depression (PND), personality disorders, eating disorders, anger management and stress. She specialises in the use of mindfulness and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) to treat and manage these conditions. At Spire Harpenden Hospital, Miriam is part of the Bariatric Team where she assesses patients prior to being accepted for weight loss surgery.
Miriam has also been featured in the media on BBC London Radio and BBC Leicester Radio as an Expert Speaker on anxiety disorders and eating disorders. She was also the Psychologist on the 'Nip Tuck: My Big Decision' program on BBC Three. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Greenwich on PTSD and has delivered several seminars to GPs and allied health professionals in her field of expertise.
