About Dr Michelle Hunt
With more than 25 years of clinical experience, Dr Hunt is one of Sydney's leading dermatologists. She specialises solely in laser and cosmetic dermatology and is the director of Inner Sydney Dermatology. Dr Hunt gained her medical qualification in 1989 from the University of Sydney before working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital. She then spent time researching skin cancer and gained a Master of Medicine degree and gained fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1997. Dr Hunt gained fellowship with the American College of Mohs' Micrographic Surgery following a 12-month fellowship in Mohs' Micrographic Surgery and Laser dermatology at the Skin and Cancer Foundation in Westmead where she later worked for 20 years. Dr Hunt has also worked as a visiting medical officer at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before co-founding Inner Sydney Dermatology. Dr Hunt has authored a number of papers in dermatology journals and is regularly asked to speak at conferences in the field. She also has a passion for teaching and spends time educating dermatology trainees as well as general practitioners.
