Hakkında
Merav is a registered psychologist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. They are a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Merav has experience working with adults and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds. They have experience in a range of settings such as community mental health centres and university counselling services.
Merav can assist people with their journey of exploring their past in order to make sense of current experiences, and in developing a deeper understanding of themselves. They are experienced in assisting people with matters such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, life transition issues, grief and loss, complex trauma as well as other mental health concerns.
With a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental interpersonal style, Merav strives to create a safe therapeutic relationship where clients feel accepted, understood and also supportively challenged. Merav is trained in the psychodynamic approach and brings this knowledge of human needs, wishes, motivations and behaviour to their practice.
