Mrs Melissa Caborn

Melissa Caborn is a skilled and experienced Sports Therapist who graduated in Sports Therapy from the University of Northampton. Since completing her degree, she has honed her expertise in several key areas of sports therapy, including sports massage, injury diagnosis, injury rehabilitation, and advanced treatments such as Shockwave Therapy, K-Laser Therapy, Electro Muscle Stimulation, ultrasound, and cupping therapy. Over the years, Melissa has gained extensive experience working with Coventry Rugby Club, where she applied her expertise in both injury prevention and rehabilitation. In addition to her work with professional athletes, Melissa has also contributed to the private care sector, assisting patients recovering from motor accidents and offering tailored rehabilitation plans to meet individual needs. Her experience extends to the charitable sector, where she has supported runners at the London Marathon and Northampton 5K by providing post-event massage and applying strapping and taping techniques to prevent injury and aid recovery. She has also worked within a private care home, adapting her rehabilitation skills to assist individuals with various conditions, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Melissa has also been an active volunteer at the London Marathon, offering massages to runners at the finish line. She has worked with various rugby teams, providing pitchside expertise, first aid, and assisting players with strapping, taping, and recovery before and after matches.  Melissa's passion for sports therapy and her dedication to helping individuals recover from injuries, optimise their performance, and improve their overall well-being have made her a trusted professional in her field.
