Prof. Dr. phil. Meinolf Peters ist Psychologischer Psychotherapeut und Psychoanalytiker. Nach dem Abitur absolvierte er ein Psychologiestudium und war ab 1981 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Abteilung Entwicklungspsychologie an der Justus-Liebig Universität Gießen. Seine therapeutische Ausbildung umfasste eine intensive Beschäftigung mit Verhaltenstherapie, gefolgt von Ausbildungen in Gesprächspsychotherapie und Psychoanalyse. Zusätzlich absolvierte er eine Weiterbildung in systemisch-lösungsorientierter Psychotherapie.
