Dr. Matthew Tam earned his medical degree from Oxford University Medical School and completed radiology training at the Norwich Radiology Academy. He then went on to do a Vascular & Interventional Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Ohio in 2009.
He has over 10 years of experience working in interventional and general radiology in acute hospitals throughout the United Kingdom. He is currently the Imaging Lead for Quality, having held previous leadership positions including Clinical Lead. Additionally, he completed a Masters in Clinical Education as well as an MBA.
Dr. Tam is a highly skilled interventional radiologist, specializing in both vascular and non-vascular procedures such as fibroid embolization, acute embolization for haemorrhage, EVAR, peripheral vascular angioplasty and stenting, nephrostomy and antegrade stenting and nephroureteral catheter placement, biliary drainage & bile duct stenting, gastrostomy, CT and USS biopsy and drainage, IVC filter placement & filter retrieval, implanted drains and access procedures.
