Dr. Maryam Sharafi is a highly qualified Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) specialist. Dr. Sharafi is a medical graduate of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Sharafi then specialised in ENT, achieving board certification from the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. Dr. Sharafi has been a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) since 2016. In 2019, Dr. Sharafi earned recognition as a Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon by the International Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IBCFPRS). Dr. Sharafi has a keen interest in rhinoplasty and has undertaken advanced courses in this field.
Dr. Sharafi has authored publications in internationally recognised journals, including the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal (PRS) and the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery-Global Open (PRS Global Open). Dr. Sharafi presented their concept of the ���Crown Concept���, a new definition of the nasal keystone, at the Annual Meeting of the Mexican Society of Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery.
