Dr. Marwa Shaaban is a highly experienced Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist with a subspecialty focus in breast imaging. With over 25 years dedicated to advancing women’s health, she is widely recognised for her expertise in the early detection and management of breast cancer, as well as her compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
Since beginning her career in the UAE in 2005, Dr. Shaaban has worked across several of the country’s leading healthcare institutions, including London Clinic Dubai, Mediclinic Abu Dhabi, Yas Clinic Group, Danat Al Emarat Hospital, and Al Zahra Hospital Dubai. Throughout her career, she has received multiple awards honouring her significant contributions to radiology and women’s health.
Her areas of specialisation include mammography, breast MRI, ultrasound, and preventive health screening for women.
Dr. Shaaban earned her Bachelor of Medicine degree from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1997, followed by a Master’s Degree in Radiology in 2002. She brings more than two decades of professional experience across the UAE and Egypt, combining clinical excellence with innovation to support women in achieving better health outcomes.
