About

Marielle Quint is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, specialising in supporting children, teenagers and their families. She helps young people manage anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties and identity challenges, with a focus on helping them feel understood, more confident and better able to cope day to day.

Marielle also works with adults, particularly women, supporting fertility journeys, pregnancy, early parenthood and the ongoing challenge of balancing work, relationships and family life.

She understands that seeking support for your child, or for yourself as a parent, can feel like a big step. Marielle works collaboratively with families to understand what may be driving difficulties and to find practical, compassionate ways forward. She supports children, young people and parents with anxiety, phobias, low mood, eating difficulties, self-esteem challenges, adoption-related experiences and adjustment to major life transitions.

Marielle works in private practice and is part of the clinical team at The Soke in Kensington. She is also the Psychology Lead at Kidswell Health in Golders Green.

She completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Leeds, followed by a postgraduate diploma in Psychoanalytic Infant Observational Studies at the Tavistock Clinic, which sparked her longstanding interest in infant development and maternal mental health. She later completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, specialising in work with refugee children and families and researching identity formation following adoption.

Marielle has extensive NHS experience within Child and Family services. She is particularly passionate about supporting mothers experiencing postnatal depression, birth trauma, fertility challenges and the emotional complexities of early parenthood.

Marielle works integratively, drawing on psychodynamic thinking, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, EMDR and systemic approaches, tailoring therapy to each individual and family.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
