Dr. Mariana Alves is a skilled dentist with a special focus on Endodontics. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Lisbon in 2010, where she graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Alves pursued further specialisation by completing a three-year full-time specialty training and earning a Master's degree in Endodontics at the esteemed Harvard University in the USA in 2015.
Since completing her training, Dr. Alves has dedicated her practice exclusively to Endodontics and Endodontic microsurgery. She is aware of the anxiety that root canal treatment can evoke in patients and she strives to create a welcoming, tranquil, and comfortable environment for all her patients.
Dr. Alves' special interests extend to pain management and the diagnosis of orofacial pain. Her passion for healthcare and commitment to excellence makes her a valued member of the team at Southfields Dental Centre.
