Mr Mahmoud Elfar

Professional Profile Mr Elfar is a UK-trained Consultant Urological Surgeon with over 10 years of consultant-level experience. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of urological conditions, including urological cancers, kidney stones, benign prostate disorders, and recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). His expertise in minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery—utilising advanced laser and laparoscopic techniques—enables enhanced patient outcomes and quicker recovery times. He has held key leadership positions in the NHS and continues to contribute nationally to clinical governance. He is currently a member of the NICE Interventional Procedures Advisory Committee (IPAC), advising on the safe and evidence-based implementation of new treatments across the NHS.
