Lindita is an accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works from a person-centred
approach and integrates well researched modalities such as DBT, IFS and compassion based therapies to effectively individualise therapy for each client. Offering a confidential and supportive space in which meaningful conversations can foster healing, resilience, and renewed strength.
Her areas of special interest include life transitions, anxiety, and relationship difficulties.
In addition, Lindita has extensive experience supporting clients through bereavement, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress. Opportunities for providing individual therapy sessions to survivors of torture has further enabled her to grow as a trauma informed therapist.
During her brief experience as a research assitant in the School of Psychology in Trinity College Dublin, Lindita developed a greater appreciation for human factors in ergonomics and in the therapy room she can effectively address work-related issues like stress, burnout, offering a safe space to understand patterns and develop succsesful coping strategies.
Having lived and worked in Albania, Italy, New Zealand and Ireland has added to Lindita's life experiences, her multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from different backgrounds and walks of life.
Lindita holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as an MSc in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from University College Dublin, completed in 2012. This coupled with Lindita's experience in the disability sector renders her a neurodiverse-informed counsellor.
She is a member of the Association for the Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland, and Associate Member of the the Association for Person-Centred Creative Arts.
