Obstetrics & Gynaecology
About
Having a young family herself, Dr Xu understands the challenges new parents face and she is able to provide personalised and compassionate treatment to each of her patients. She ensures to keep abreast of the latest advances in the field and enjoys training and mentoring new medical students. Dr Xu is currently a training supervisor at both the Royal Women's Hospital and RANZCOG.
Dr Xu grew up in China before moving to Australia at the age of 12. She completed her medical degree in 1997 before finding her passion for obstetrics and gynaecology. She then undertook higher training in obstetrics and gynaecology and was subsequently awarded the Gold Medal for her performance in the examination.
When she is not busy looking after her three children, Dr Xu enjoys reading, yoga, and interior design.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
