Psychotherapy
About
Originally trained in clinical social work in South Africa, Lauren combined her expertise with a strong interest in psychodynamic psychotherapy. She furthered her qualifications by completing a Masters in Psychotherapy and undergoing training in Transactional Analysis and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). This diverse background allows her to integrate various therapeutic models tailored to each client's unique needs, interests, and experiences.
Lauren's approach is characterised by providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their difficulties and tap into their inner strength. Clients can expect an authentic and warm relationship with her, coupled with a commitment to accompany them on their journey to recovery. She advocates for a shift in the approach to eating disorders globally, prioritising early intervention and ensuring accessible care for all.
Having relocated to London from South Africa in 2020, she has embraced the opportunity to explore the city and make it her new home, adding to her rich life experiences.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
