Nach einem erfolgreichen Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science und Masters in Applied Molecular Biology in den USA, absolvierte Herr Kourosh Peterhansl das Studium der Humanmedizin an der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. Im Jahr 2012 beendete Herr Peterhansl die Facharztausbildung für Orthopädie und spezialisierte sich seither auf den operativen Ersatz großer Gelenke. Besonders im Bereich der Knie-Endoprothetik und des minimal invasiven Hüftgelenkersatzes konnte sich Kourosh Peterhansl in den letzten Jahren mit mehr als 2000 Operationen einen erstklassigen Ruf unter Kollegen und Patienten erarbeiten.
Ende 2019 gründete er zusammen mit seinem Kollegen, Ben David Hirsch, die Medical Balance Group GbR in Pottsam. Seine operative Tätigkeit für die Praxis führt Kourosh Peterhansl in den Sana-Kliniken Sommerfeld, der Privatklinik Sanssouci in Potsdam, sowie in der Meoclinic Berlin aus. Zusätzlich zu seinem operativen Schwerpunkt arbeitet Herr Peterhansel als Personal-Trainer und betreut als Orthopäde und Teamarzt diverse Sportler.
