Dr Kelvin Kwok is a specialist Colorectal Surgeon. They are a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). Dr Kwok has a special interest in laparoscopic colorectal surgery for the treatment of colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr Kwok graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2001. They then undertook their Basic Surgical Training at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. Following this, Dr Kwok completed their Advanced Surgical Training at hospitals in Gosford, Wyong, John Hunter and Concord, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. Dr Kwok then went on to complete a Master of Surgery at The University of Sydney in 2009. Their dissertation explored the impact of anastomosis technique on the rates of recurrence requiring repeat bowel resections in those with Crohn's disease. In 2010, Dr Kwok commenced the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia & New Zealand Post-Fellowship Training Program in Colon & Rectal Surgery at the Austin Hospital. In 2011, they worked at the Concord Hospital Colorectal Unit.
