About Kate Hurt
Mrs. Kate Hurt is an experienced Optometrist practising at Thompson & Hardwick Optometrists. She graduated from Bradford University in 1990. After completing her pre-registration year, she relocated to the Fylde coast and has been dedicated to independent optometry practice ever since. In November 2006, she became a part of G R Hardwick (Optometrist). Kate is an active member of the Lancashire Optical Society and regularly participates in meetings and continuing education groups as a member of the Lancashire Optical Committee and 1st Choice Eyecare Consortium. A significant highlight in her career was a voluntary trip to Kenya, where she served as an optometrist for Vision Aid Overseas. This international charity is committed to combating poverty by improving access to eye care services in developing countries, reflecting Kate's passion for contributing to global eye health.
