Dr Justyna Ozimek Kulik is a paediatric nephrologist consulting at Children’s Health Hub in Westmead. She completed her specialist training within the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network at Randwick and Westmead Children’s Hospital. Her experience also includes work in nephrology at Prince of Wales Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital, and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Dr Ozimek Kulik is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in Paediatric Nephrology and General Paediatrics. She has also completed fellowships in Rural General Paediatrics and Clinical Trials. Her main clinical interests include cystic and congenital kidney conditions, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and kidney transplantation.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Ozimek Kulik is actively involved in research as an Honorary Nephrologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital and as a Research Fellow at Macquarie University, where she contributes to ongoing studies in paediatric nephrology. She is a member of the International Paediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA), the International Paediatric Transplant Association (IPTA), and several regional nephrology organisations, including the European Society for Paediatric Nephrology (ESPN) and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology (ANZSN).
Dr Ozimek Kulik works as a staff specialist across children’s hospitals in Randwick and Westmead. She provides care for children with complex renal conditions and maintains a strong focus on evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration. She speaks Polish in addition to English.
