About
Dr Panetta completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University in 1994, followed by specialist training that led to her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She undertook advanced paediatric neurology training in 2003 at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand, and further developed her clinical expertise at leading Australian institutions, including the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and the Mater Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.
Her clinical experience spans neonatal neurology, metabolic medicine, and child and adolescent psychiatry, allowing her to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. Dr Panetta has also contributed to academic research, with publications in metabolic medicine, and has presented her work at international forums such as the International Congress of Inborn Errors in Metabolism.
Outside of her professional life, she is a dedicated mother of three and an accomplished violinist, performing at a high level.
