Dr Joseph Stone
General Practice (GP)
About
Prior to his GP training, Dr. Stone served as an ENT Clinical Fellow at Manchester Royal Infirmary, where he gained valuable experience in the management of ear, nose, and throat conditions. He brings this expertise to his clinical practice, where he has a particular interest in ENT, alongside men's health and musculoskeletal medicine.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Stone is actively involved in medical education. He teaches medical students at the University of Manchester and serves as a mentor to junior doctors during their hospital attachments. Within the NHS, he maintains commitments at Manchester Foundation Trust, where he works in the Urgent Treatment Centre and provides general practice services in North Manchester.
Dr. Stone's dedication to ongoing learning is evident in his completion of a Primary Care Dermatology course, which has given him skills in the diagnosis of skin lesions using dermoscopy. With his broad experience and commitment to patient care and education, he provides comprehensive and compassionate medical services to his patients.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
