Dr John-Paul Westwood specialises in the management of coagulation problems in allied disorders and Haemostasis and Thrombosis, including Thrombotic Microangiopathies (TTP & aHUS), Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), and bleeding disorders. He is also a Transfusion consultant, helping to run the UCLH Haemophilia Centre.
Dr Westwood completed an MD at UCL investigating the role of Complement in a variety of disorders, including TTP.
