About Prof John Boyages
Professor John Boyages is an internationally recognised radiation oncologist and breast cancer specialist. Patients from across Australia and the Asia Pacific regularly seek his opinion. He is known for his calm and compassionate manner. Professor Boyages has over 180 clinical research articles published in leading publications investigating breast cancer and lymphoedema. He has also authored three books about breast cancer: 'Taking Control: Breast Cancer', 'Taking Control: Male Breast Cancer', and 'Taking Control: DCIS'. These books are for patients. He is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences, patient support groups, the McGrath Foundation and Breast Cancer Network Australia.
