About
Jo has expertise in assisting patients with their gut problems and is able to treat a broad range of symptoms including reflux, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain as well as IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) management and the use of the low FODMAP diet. She also sees patients with Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), pancreatitis and bile acid malabsorption.
Jo also enjoys discussing gut health optimisation which can be of benefit for those with thyroid disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome and endometriosis.
Jo has vast experience in oncology and is able to provide supportive treatment to manage common side effects whilst also optimising nutritional status and gut health to support patients' immune systems during treatment. She also has experience with digestive enzyme replacement therapy for gastrointestinal disorders related to pancreatic disease both in and out of the oncology setting.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
