Since joining Priory in 2021, he has brought a wealth of experience from both NHS and private psychiatric care settings. He holds substantive consultant positions across multiple Priory hospital sites, including Woodbourne and Barnt Green, in the Birmingham area.
Dr. Rajendran’s qualifications include a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry (2011), confirming his expertise in adult mental health. He also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Psychiatry (2003). Additionally, he is an Approved Clinician under the Mental Health Act (2009) and a Section 12 Approved Doctor (renewed in 2021), allowing him to assess and make decisions about patient care under mental health legislation. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1995.
Dr. Rajendran’s approach to psychiatry is both patient-centred and informed by years of clinical experience, ensuring his patients receive the highest standard of care.
