Dr Jaoudat Yazbek is a Specialist in Cardiovascular Disease with extensive international training and over three decades of experience in cardiology. He holds a PhD from The Bakulev Research Center of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in Moscow (2002), a Master’s degree in Cardiology (Ordinatura) from Russia (1995), and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the First Moscow Medical Institute (1990). He also holds the Syrian Certificate of Specialty in Cardiology.
Dr Yazbek is licensed as a Specialist in Cardiovascular Disease by the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi. He has also held cardiology licenses with the Ministry of Health in Russia and Saudi Arabia.
His clinical expertise covers a broad range of non-invasive and advanced cardiac diagnostic and monitoring techniques. He performs and interprets resting and exercise ECGs, transthoracic colour Doppler echocardiography and stress echocardiography. He is experienced in the analysis and interpretation of Holter monitoring and cardiac event recorders, as well as ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. His skills also include coronary care unit (CCU) and advanced cardiac monitoring, pacemaker and ICD follow-up, and cardiac CT scan interpretation.
Dr Yazbek has held senior cardiology roles across multiple countries. From 2016 to 2021, he worked at Specialized Medical Care Hospital in Al Ain. Prior to that, he served as a Specialist in Cardiovascular Disease at Wellness Medical Center in Abu Dhabi (2015–2016). Between 2010 and 2014, he worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at King Fahad Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Earlier in his career, from 2003 to 2010, he practised as a Cardiologist at Arabic Alnahda Association Hospital and National Hospital in Homs, Syria.
